AI automation · Markham and the GTA
AI automation for GTA businesses
We find the job quietly eating your team’s week and automate it: small automations from $250, or a two-week Audit and a fixed-price, four-week build.
AI automation means handing a repetitive job to software that can read, write and decide the simple cases on its own: replying to routine enquiries, turning a form into a quote, logging every lead, chasing reviews. We are a studio in Markham, Ontario, and we set these up for businesses across the Greater Toronto Area.
Statistics Canada counts about one in five Canadian businesses using AI. Most of them still key in their invoices by hand. Buying an AI subscription is not the same as taking work off anyone, and that gap is the whole of what we do.
Small automations, fixed prices
Some jobs are common enough that we have a standard build for them. Each is a one-time setup fee, in Canadian dollars, plus 13% HST.
| Automation | What it does | Setup |
|---|---|---|
| Instant reply | Every enquiry gets a helpful reply within a minute, written from your own website, even at 11 pm | $250 |
| Review requests | After each job the customer gets a short, friendly ask for a Google review | $450 |
| Auto-posting | New blog posts and projects go out to Instagram and Facebook with a caption, without anyone opening an app | $400 |
| Booking and reminders | Online booking synced to your calendar, with text and email reminders that cut no-shows | $500 |
| Lead tracker | Every enquiry logged in your CRM or a Google Sheet, tagged by service, with a reminder if nobody follows up in two days | $600 |
| Site assistant | A chat assistant that answers visitors from your own pages and prices, and hands the conversation to a person when it should | $900, plus $49 a month |
| Quote drafts | Quote-form answers become a drafted quote in QuickBooks or Xero, ready to check and send | $1,200 |
These suit a business that already knows which job it wants gone. If you are not sure, or the job is bigger than any of these, start with the Audit.
Bigger jobs: Audit, First Win, Operate
The Audit: two weeks, $2,500
We sit with your team and watch how the work actually gets done, not how the process document says it does, and we ask what they would stop doing tomorrow if they could. You get a list of what is worth automating, what is not, and what each would cost. The list is yours to keep even if you walk away, and if you go ahead, the $2,500 is credited in full against the First Win.
If AI looks irrelevant to your business, it nearly always means nobody has pointed it at the right job yet. The Audit is how we find it.
The First Win: four weeks, fixed price
We take the worst job on the Audit's list and take it off your team. It runs in your systems, on your data, used by your people on a Monday morning. It is not a demo we show you once and take away. The price is fixed, and quoted from what the Audit found, so there is no meter running.
Where a no-code tool is enough, we use one. Where the job needs a real app, something your crew uses on a phone or something that talks to your accounting system, we build that too; it is what our custom software work is for.
Operate: monthly
Automations drift. A model changes, an API moves, someone renames a folder, and six months later the whole thing has quietly stopped working. On Operate we keep what we built running, measure it against where you started, and take another job off the list each quarter. The second one is always cheaper, because by then we know your systems.
What makes a job worth automating
- It repeats. Daily or weekly, done the same way each time.
- It follows rules you could write down. Even if there are exceptions, most cases look alike.
- Someone qualified is doing it. The cost is not just the hours, it is what else that person could be doing.
- Mistakes are catchable. A drafted quote someone checks is a good first automation. Anything that pays money out without a person looking at it is not.
Some jobs fail all four. We will tell you so on the first call, rather than sell you an Audit to find out.
Your data, in writing
Security is the worry we hear most, and fair enough. Before anything connects to anything, you get it in writing: what the AI sees, where it is processed, and what gets kept. Every automation we build has a way to switch it off if it misbehaves, and your team is trained on it before we leave. Personal information stays subject to Canada's privacy law (PIPEDA), and we set things up with that in mind.
Where we work
We are based in Markham and work with businesses across the Greater Toronto Area, including Toronto, Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Mississauga, Brampton, Oakville, Pickering, Ajax, Whitby and Oshawa. The Audit is done in person, at your place. Everything after it can happen remotely, with visits when they help.
Questions
- How much does AI automation cost for a small business?
- Our ready-made automations cost between $250 and $1,200 to set up, and most have no monthly fee. A larger job starts with a $2,500 Audit, credited in full against the build, which is then a fixed price quoted from the Audit. All prices are in Canadian dollars, plus 13% HST.
- Is it safe to let AI see our business data?
- Only if you know exactly what it sees. Before anything connects to anything, we put it in writing: what the AI can access, where it is processed, and what gets kept. Every automation also has a way to switch it off.
- Do you work on site, or remotely?
- Both. The Audit means sitting with the people who do the work, so we come to you anywhere in the Greater Toronto Area. The build and the upkeep after it can mostly happen remotely.
